Part of the mission of The Village Angels of Tanzania is to train local unemployed young people with skills in gardening, crafts, household tasks, and simple medical procedures such as taking vital signs and dispensing over-the-counter medications, and how to give comfort and companionship to the elders.  The Village Angels hold classes to provide this training to the young people at no cost to them.  Each class begins with a prayer asking God to bless the program and make it a success.
