Adopt-an-Elder Sponsorship

The 80 elders in The Village Angels of Tanzania program are poor, abandoned and live in isolated mud huts. Before we came to their assistance, they carried their own water, collected their own firewood for cooking, planted what they could and foraged what they could. All to just stay alive.

Since 2015 the youths in our program have made weekly food deliveries to these elders. The nutritional flour we grind affords them the breakfast they never had before. We give them rice, potatoes, maize, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs and avocados, even cooking oil, salt and a little sugar. We also supply them with eating utensils, dishes and drinking cups.  

All of this costs $20/month per elder.

With a pledge $20/month to The Village Angels of Tanzania, it will be you providing this food to one of our elders. When you pledge you will receive the name and background information of your elder and a picture too. When you sign up, your credit card or bank account will be automatically charged $20 a month. 

That’s it!  Nothing else to do - except enjoy the thought of how you are making a difference in one elderly person’s life.
