Medical Insurance for The Village Angels

On Monday, we visited the District Medical Officer in Ngara seeking his written approval for our malnutrition study.  While he gladly gave it to us, he urged us to purchase health insurance for the elders and youths in our program.  We happily did so.  Imagine, now all 86 people in our program are covered for hospital visits, lab tests and prescription drugs if they get sick. They also will be covered for dental and eye care needs.
