Our 80 elders receive a generous delivery of food every week. Good food on a steady basis is certainly contributing to their improved health. But some of them suffer from chronic diseases and health ailments.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Mary Queen of All Nations Missionary Alliance in Morristown, we have recently conducted a personal medical assessment of each of our elders. What started as foot care examinations eventually became a total health review, conducted by two local doctors.
Next step: take corrective actions to address identified diagnoses.
These elders, if they previously have not been brought to a hospital for some serious illness, have never been examined by a medical doctor in their entire lives! The Village Angels of Tanzania program has now provided this level of healthcare to them. Thank you to Mary Queen of All Nations Missionary Alliance.
