More water for more vegetables
Last year we made history by bringing water to our Kafua Campus. Towards the end of the season, however, our well stopped flowing and our harvest, once again, went hopelessly dry.
A few donors came to our rescue last Christmas. They donated the money needed for a second well. Construction was quite an undertaking. Drilling the well, laying the pipes, installing the solar panels and, last but not least, hauling tanks on top of the existing water tower.
We are looking forward to a prosperous harvest this year, with plenty of fresh vegetables and clean water for our elders.
