We earned a 2020 Gold Seal of Transparency!
The Village Angels of Tanzania just earned a prestigious 2020 Gold Seal of Transparency by adding relevant information on our organization to our Nonprofit Profile on GuideStar. The Gold Seal is the second highest level of award and is granted to the top 0.5% of U.S. nonprofits.
Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. GuideStar finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Through research, collaboration, and training, GuideStar connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to do it. Their data tools on nonprofits, foundations, and grants are the most comprehensive in the world.
Now our donors and friends, as well as 10+ million GuideStar users, can find in-depth, publicly available information about our goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress. We’re shining a spotlight on the difference we help make in the world. Plus, we’ve provided fresh information to 200+ charitable websites and applications that use GuideStar data, such as AmazonSmile, Facebook, and Network for Good.
